Better Future is currently developing the concept of a mobile leadership academy in Africa. We believe that development of the African continent needs to be carried by a new generation of African leaders, who have the awareness of their people’s needs, the ability to translate needs into a clear vision and strategy, and the resources to turn dreams into reality.
Enter: the Ubuntu Leadership Academy (ULA). The ULA will make high-quality leadership education accessible for (potential) leaders and entrepreneurs with remarkable talent and the ambition to create positive change for their organizations and communities.
It works through a mobile institute that travels through African countries. On board, a mix of local, national and international professors, inspirational role models and experts, who exchange and share their knowledge, experience and networks with local leaders.
Our approach is based on a combination of practical and academic knowledge, work on locally relevant cases, and personal dreams and inspiration. Both one-day workshops on varying topics and one to two-week leadership seminars will be organized in each community. Afterwards, follow-up support will be provided in alignment with selected local organizations.
This dream concept is being developed together with a number of Kenyan and international business, academic and civil partners. We welcome partners from all sectors to think along and to join us in this initiative.
